Reclaimed from disused railway lines, durable wooden railway sleepers (railroad ties) are one of the most versatile landscaping products - useful for retaining walls, steps and stairs, stepping stones, paving, garden edging and more...even for making rustic furniture.

Used railway sleepers are sourced from various locations in Australia, graded, bundled and strapped for export. Please note we do not sell used sleepers to customers within Australia - only export.

Wood species are mixed, naturally durable eucalyptus hardwood species (spotted gum, ironbark, River red gum etc). Because these species have high natural durability, the sleepers have not normally been treated with any chemical preservative such as creosote.
